Care Group Ministry
Purpose
The LFCC Care Group Ministry is designed to foster growth and camaraderie amongst the church members and their families within Living Faith Christian Center. Each of the four groups is comprised of no more than 20-30 church members who have officially joined the church and have gone through the Living Faith New Members Classes. Upon completing the New Member Classes, the new member will be assigned to a care group on a rotating basis unless the new member joining is already a family member of an existing member of the church. In that case, he/she will be placed in the care group with their family members. There may be other circumstances for placement of a new member that the Care Group Ministry Leader may follow at the discretion of the Pastor and Chief Operating Officer. Care Groups are not to engage in conducting or planning any church event or Bible classes but are designed to assist the Senior Pastor in accomplishing the overall mission and vision of the church.
The purpose of the Care Groups is to serve as a means of fellowshipping, both inside and outside the church, by encouraging the members to get together periodically, not to
have church services; but to fellowship in breaking bread together, traveling, visiting one another when there is an unforeseen emergency or sickness, and in some cases the
death of a church member or his/her family member. Care Group Leaders serves and assists the Senior Pastor in ministry to that family in time of need and at other times as
required.
